  • The One Pot Pledge® is a Garden Organic campaign
  • Garden Organic is the UK’s leading organic growing charity. Dedicated to promoting organic gardening in homes, communities and schools the organisation uses innovation and inspiration to get more people growing in the most sustainable way.
  • The One Pot Pledge® campaign is aimed at getting at least 30,000 people to grow something edible in a pot for the first time. The campaign’s target audience is new growers.
  • By inspiring people to grow their own with the One Pot Pledge® Garden Organic hopes to help put people back in touch with food and the environment.
  • The campaign aims to prove that growing your own is easy, achievable and rewarding and will promote long-term behavioural change towards more sustainable lifestyles.
  • As with all of Garden Organic’s charitable activity, the growing advice for the campaign is based on the charity’s very own organic gardening guidelines – the UK’s only code of practice, for organic gardeners.
  • The One Pot Pledge® campaign has been generously funded by the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation and the Laura Ashley Foundation.
  • The One Pot Pledge® concept was originally devised by Food Up Front, the urban food growing network. One Pot Pledge® is a registered Trade Mark of Food Up Front.
